Sarah Steel Ceramics focuses on making once off botanical sculptures and vessels that are often placed as centre piece items in homes. The Fragile Pottery Co is also a space to come and sink your hands in clay amidst the chaos of everyday life. Sarah wants people to come and explore their deep creativity and make beautiful items in a gentle and caring environment. Clay has been in her genes forever with her maternal grandmother being a potter. She started her clay journey when she was 18 years old. Sarah has a passion for botanicals and her work explores South African nature and plant themes. Her studio is based in Parkview Johannesburg. She runs various weekly classes for children and adults, as well as special workshops for occassions like Mothers Day. An afternoon to fully immerse yourself in the joy of clay therapy while being treated to a delicious tea.Ā
