Meet The Founder 

Hello, I'm Mary-Rose

I was born in Johannesburg and spent much of my childhood in Botswana's Northern Tuli Reserve, where my love for nature first begun. I later fell in love with farming communities through my relationships, work and studies in KZN. I became fascinated by where our food comes from. Returning to Johannesburg and becoming a wife and mother was a journey that culminated in the opportunity to build something that reflects my deepest values; I have always believed life is richer the slow, purposeful way. Today I work with artisans, farmers and small businesses across South Africa to connect them with customers who value quality, craftsmanship and community.
