Hass and Fuerte avocados differ in several ways, including their appearance, taste, and texture: 

• Hass avocados have a rough, knobbly, dark green skin that turns black-purple when ripe. Fuerte avocados have a smooth, bright green skin that stays green even when ripe
  
• Hass avocados have a richer, nuttier flavor and a buttery, meaty texture. Fuerte avocados have a milder, slightly nutty flavor and are sweeter and fruitier.
  
• Hass avocados are creamier, while Fuerte avocados have a slightly firmer texture
  
• Fuerte avocados have less fat than Hass avocado
